Dr. Angela Saywood (nee Langthorne) was born and
raised in Grand Lake, Nova Scotia. After graduating from Dalhousie University with an Honors degree in Microbiology and Immunology
in 2002, Dr. Saywood moved to Boston to attend the New England College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry
in 2006. Dr. Saywood joined Elmsdale Vision Centre in 2007.
Dr. Saywood is a member of the Nova Scotia Association
of Optometrists Children's Vision and Public Education Committee, and a member of VOSH International (Volunteer Optometric
Service for Humanity).
Dr. Saywood resides in Fall River with her husband Nigel. Dr. Saywood
enjoys running, camping, kayaking and playing with their dog Maggie.
